Bob is the captain of the commandos. He's probably the most level-headed of the three, but he's also the most uncertain and confused about the future. Bob believes that the commandos were brought together for a purpose and he is always trying to figure out what that purpose is.

Bob, Joe and Will came from different backgrounds, different family situations, and completely disparate parts of the country. But they were brought together through unusual circumstances. They basically ran into each other by accident. Up until that time each of them thought he was unique - a singular freak in the world, whose head happened to be spherical. Bob was a helicopter pilot, Joe was a fisherman, and Will was a Navy SEAL.

While I haven't yet explored their back stories in detail, I am looking forward to telling their origin stories in the future. For now I'll just say that Bob was the driving force who brought these three together. He recognized their commonalities as more than just freak physical aberrations. He believed that, together, they could serve a greater good.
